Review: iColorama for iPad – The Best Photoshop for iPad!
Ok guys I just got iColorama for iPad and let me tell you this is an AMAZING piece of software. iColorama is one of the best photo editors I have seen for the iPad.
iColorama is that last step for all of the photos you take. Just take a picture, open iColorama, enhance colors, and apply many filters and image settings until you are satisfied and then SAVE & SEND.
iColorama offers a ton of effects and almost all of them have individual presets to quickly adjust your image. You can also fine tune the effect with a swipe of your finger and choosing the brush you want to use. The included effects include:
Tone:
Enhance, Pastel, MatchColor, Bleach, B&W, BW&Color, Duotone, TritonePresets:
Lomo,Tint,Sepia,Colors,Textures,Borders,LinesEffects:
Blend, Vignette, Noise, Light, Blur, Denoise, Sharpen, Multi, GradientStyles:
Sketch, Simplify, Painterly, Edges, Flated, Halftone, Pixels, Hatches, EngravesAdjust:
High, ToneLab, Vibrance, Saturate, Exposure, Channels, HDRForm:
Warp, Flip, Straight, Deforms, Glass, Waves, Escher, Tiles
If there was one thing that I wish they could add or change would to have a user guide or introduction video showing you how to use all of the features. Even though that app is very easy to use, some people may get overwhelmed with all of the options available and what they do. The best method to use would be just trial and error. Keep clicking on things until you achieve the right look.
Once you have the desired look of your picture you can save it back to your camera roll or post it on some of the popular social media sites like Flickr, Facebook, Twitter and Tumbler. You can also e-mail or MMS your friends and family as well.
iColorama is currently priced at $1.99 and is a steal at that price. This app should easily cost $4.99 or $9.99. If you are looking for the iPhone version they have that priced at $1.99 as well, and they even offer a free trial version. You should grab a copy now at this low price before the developer decides to raise it up.

UPDATE: If you used NoAccSplash to allow video playback (Bypassing Video is playing on TV) then NAS is still necessary, and the current version in BigBoss Repo works fine for both iPhone and iPad.
Well it’s a day after Apple has released iOS 6.1 for all supported devices and I am pleased to announce we may not need NoAccSplash anymore to use the Music/Video apps anymore!
It would seem that Apple actually listens to some user input and now we have full control of the Music and Videos Applications when plugged into a pesky accessory that use to lock the controls out
SpringBoard controls are also re-enabled as well
Spotlight, VoiceControl and Siri music selection still doesn’t appear to work, but this is a start, it means Apple is actually willing to listen to user input and make changes in a timely manner.
If I ever find a way to fix Spotlight, Siri and VoiceControl selections I will be sure to update NoAccSplash to support this, but as of right now I have nothing
PS. For those of you who use other music applications (Pandora, etc) I’ve had no luck imitating or even tracing down a way to get those apps to behave. Might email those developers and complain with the make and model of your system.
Share your experience on if 6.1 fixed your NoAccSplash needs and we’ll go from there.

Review: Beetles. Stop them! for iPad
Beetles. Stop them! is the name of the game and exactly what you will be saying as you are rapidly smashing them on your iPad screen. Beetles. Stop them! was developed by Pavel Vladimirov, and your job is to survive as many waves as possible by smashing beetles.
Tons of beetles will be rushing to the bottom of your screen. Smash them before the reach the bottom and you will earn points. If they reach the bottom your health will decrease and the game will end when you have no more health. You will have to watch out for the good beetles and not smash them and you will also have to watch out for the boss beetles who will be harder to kill.
Throughout the game you will have options to pick up super weapons and regain your health, and if you do not want to wait for items, you can unlock them through in-app purchases from their store.
This game is very fun and enjoyable but can be a bit difficult. It is a game that kids of all ages can play, but it may be a bit too challenging for the younger kids, and there is no difficulty levels that you can adjust.
Currently this game is priced at $0.99 and is available on the Apple App Store. Go check it out!

Should I Jailbreak My iPhone?
The iPhone is one of the most sought after model of cell phones in the world. It is said that the applications and functions of a regular cell phone that is in the same model category of the iPhone doesn’t have the same quality as the iPhone. The iPhone is currently on its 5th generation and still offers the same quality of outputs but with more available features. The iPhone has a clearer camera that is capable of capturing the details of every image. The iPhone also has a clearer and crisper sound quality compared to other phones. The most amazing thing about it is that it is capable of downloading several applications from the app store that is owned by the same company that manufactures the iPhone.
The iPhone proved to be a cell phone that can cater to all tasks needed to be done by a contemporary man. Unfortunately, the iPhone has a flaw in it – some consider it as a major flaw while some look at it as a minor flaw. The thing that gives the iPhone it flaw is its limited application range. The limited application range of the iPhone is its incapability to download 3rd party application and tweaks that Apple does not approve. Some users of the iPhone never seemed to find the application that they’ve wanted in the application store that is intended for the iPhone but may find it on the popular store called Cydia. The iPhone has a security lock that rejects other applications that are not approved to run on the iPhone without the approval of Apple. However, this flaw is not absolute and can be fixed by a process called jailbreaking.
The term jailbreak is used to describe a method wherein the security feature of the iPhone as to its application compatibility is being over-written and unlocked. By unlocking this security feature it will allow your iPhone to recognize unapproved applications from other application manufacturers that produce apps not found in the Apple App Store. Jailbreaking allows the iPhone to run 3rd party apps, tweaks, and allows full customization. The extended application capabilities will sure give you the reason why you should jailbreak your iPhone.
But there is one thing that you should be careful about, you must pay a lot of attention to the applications that you are transferring on your iPhone. Some free or paid application sources may contain malware or unauthorized access to your data in their apps. These viruses that might be transferred to your phone might slow down its functions and even damage it to the extent that it cannot be used anymore without doing a full restore.
On the brighter side of jailbreaking, if you somehow find an application source that provides clean and safe application programs, you can upgrade the capabilities of your iPhone. The additional functions that your iPhone can perform might give you the convenience of using your iPhone to perform functions that are originally performed by other types of electronic gadgets. And most importantly it will not make your iPhone boring; instead it will make it cooler than anyone else.

Awesome iOS Icons
App icons play a huge role in the Apple App Store, especially now with the layout since iOS 6. Users are going to click on icons that look amazing. You could have the next Angry Birds game, but if your icon looks like crap, people are not going to give it the time of day.
Here are a few samples put together by Mobile Inc of Awesome iOS Icons.
