Review: Sector Zero for iOS

Sector Zero, developed by Andrii Vintsevych, is a new sci-fi  survival game that was just released on iOS.

When you start the game, your character has no clue who he is or where he is. It is your job to protect him as he fights his way throughout space and the unknown. You will destroy hordes of different enemies and take down giant bosses.

After a brief tutorial on how to play you get a message from an AI named Lisa, who tells you that your name is Alex. She tells you that the main thing you need to know is that if you die she can recreate you but it wastes her time and energy so you should not die.

The object of this game is to explore and solve the puzzles while collecting orbs that you can use for upgrades. If you can’t collect enough orbs for the upgrades you want you can purchase orbs via in-app purchases. Overall Sector Zero is a fun and challenging game that will keep you exploring and upgrading all of the time. The music fits very well into the game and does not seem to get repetative like a lot of other games.

Some of the features include:

• Space suit upgrades
• Achievements and leaderboards
• Endless survival mode
• Engaging story
• Diversified gameplay
• True survival experience
• 25 atmospheric music tracks
• Easy controls
• Normal and Hard Difficulty

Sector Zero is currently on sale for just $0.99 but this is only for a limited time for the game’s launch on the Apple AppStore. If you are in to Sci-Fi space type games, Sector Zero is worth checking out. It is a universal application so you only have to purchase it once to play on all of your iOS devices.
