Review: Smobile for Craigslist
Smobile for Craigslist seems to be the best application for using Craigslist on the iPhone. This application allows you to easily view all of Craigslist, Log into you account, Post directly from the app, and save your favorite items and searches.
When you first open the application you can manually add locations by using the zip code look up, or search by cities, but the easiest way is to just auto-locate nearby cities. The application will use your GPS location and show you which cites are nearby.
Once you have decided which cities you are going to use, you can log into your Craigslist account or just browse Craigslist using the beautiful grid picture view. It will show you a picture of the item if it has one along with the price so you can quickly find what you are looking for. If you want a little more information showing you can change to list view and see a smaller picture but more details.
One of the best parts of this application is the ability to log into your Craigslist account to manage items you have currently posted or even submit new posts directly from the app. Just click on Post at the bottom, choose the category you want to post in and your set. Now just set your post title, price, and description. You can even take a picture right from the app or browse your camera roll. That is it! It is so simple to use Craigslist from your mobile device.
Smobile for Craigslist is currently priced at $2.99. It is a universal application so you can purchase it one and use it on all your devices including the iPad. If you would like to check out this app for FREE they have a free version available that is ad supported.

Review: Guess The City for iPhone & iPad
Guess The City, developed by Nguyen Quang Sang, is a universal application for iOS. The game is simple Try and guess the city based on the picture. The faster you guess the correct answer the more points you collect.
Guess The City is actually a very fun and challenging game. It can be very tricky at times, but luckily you can win hints and even purchase hints via the in-app purchase store. You can also remove the annoying ads at the bottom by paying to remove the ads.
Guess The City has 6 different levels with about 30 pictures to guess on each level displaying over 200 beautiful pictures from all around the world.
The game has Facebook, Twitter, and GameCenter built in so you can track and share you scores with friends. I really like that when you are guessing you get clues right away to see if you are right or wrong. If you get it right you will get a green check and move on to the next one. If you get it wrong you will see a red X. If you happen to spell the city wrong you will not pass but it will let you know that you are close and display an orange mark.
The only issues I have with this game is that it is pretty hard unless you know you cities. Luckily you can get hints though. Also the background music is sorta annoying but you can easily turn that off in the settings and listed to you own music.
Guess The City is a FREE application so check it out on the Apple App Store today and test you knowledge!

Review: Weather and Clock for Kids
Weather and Clock for Kids, developed by Kidoteca, is exactly what it sounds like. It is an app the displays the weather and time for children using cartoon characters and animation. The included weather and clock applications that come standard on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPhone are somewhat boring, especially for kids. Weather and Clock for kids changes it up and makes checking the time and weather enjoyable for the youngsters.
A cute little mouse is able to speak out the 7-day forecast, current time and date, as well as the current temperature. In a way this is also a learning tool for children as they can hear and see exactly whats on the screen which can help them read. This app is great for children that cant read as well, as the spoken commands will be able to tell them the information they need.
The application is fully interactive and you can touch on just about anything and it will do something like opening the window and turning on the fire. You can also listed to the mouse radio with original songs and comedy presented in mouse language. As the time and weather changes, the mouse’s outfits will change as well as the wallpaper.
Weather and Clock for Kids is currently priced at just $0.99 and is a great little application that young children will enjoy and a learning tool at the same time. This is a universal application, but unfortunately it has not been updated to take full advantage of the iPhone 5′s screen yet. Check it out on the Apple App Store today!
