Apple Seeds iOS 6.1.3 Beta 2 to Developers – Fixes Passcode bug

Apple has just seeded iOS 6.1.3 Beta 2 to developers. They renamed the beta track from iOS 6.1.1 beta to 6.1.3 beta since there have been official iOS releases pushed out so quick.

The build of iOS 6.1.3 is 10B318, and we are unsure as to what else 6.1.3 will fix and when it will be released. If you are anxious to check it out and possibly lose your jailbreak, head over to the iOS Dev Portal and grab it.

iOS 6.1 Beta 2 Released to Developers

Hey Developers or anyone else with access to Apple’s iOS 6.1 beta, Apple just posted Beta 2 to the dev portal.

The build number is 10B5105c and so far we do not know of any major changes other than improvements to safari and the ability for developers to integrate with Apple’s Maps, passbook, and Siri.

Apple also pushed out a new beta of the Apple TV firmware, as well as Xcode 4.6 Developer Preview 2. We will post more info on iOS 6.1 Beta 2 as we get it.

iOS 6 Beta 2 Released Via OTA Update

Apple just pushed the next version of iOS 6 to developers via an over the air update. If you have not yet installed iOS 6. You can grab the 2nd beta version from the developers portal shortly. One thing you will notice if you do the over the air update is that the settings icon is now animated. Go check it out.

iOS 5.1 Beta 2 Released to Developers

Apple has released iOS 5.1 beta 2 to registered developers. This release has a build number of 9B5127c. The most important change in the build is the ability to delete individual photos from photo stream. Something I think we all have wanted to do at least once.

NEW: Photos taken using iOS 5.1 can be deleted from Photo Stream on your device and will be removed automatically from Photo Stream on your other iOS 5.1 devices. Older photos can be manually deleted from your iOS 5.1 devices.

 

New versions of Xcode 4.3 and Apple TV software were also released.

Apple Quickly Releases iOS 5.0.1 beta 2

Apple pushed out iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 in just 2 days. They are trying to hurry up and fix the battery issues people are seeing in the iPhone 4S. I noticed that after updating to iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 my battery was not much better. Hopefully beta 2 fixes the problem for good so that there will not be any more betas and an official release can be made to the public.

This build is an over the air update for users on iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 with a build number of 9A404.
