Ok the repo actually works now with these new packages, but Cydia will continue to say you have a Package Update, just ignore it until we find an actual solution for MMS, then I will post instructions and remove the other packages.
Ok for those of you on Simple Mobile who have been having MMS issues we have 4 new packages that may help. Install only one at a time, reboot, make sure your APNs say “simple”, and try to receive pics. If that doesn’t work uninstall the package, reboot, then do the process over again.
Customer Support says the iPhone isn’t capable of receiving picture messages which is utter nonsense since the only thing you can’t do is FaceTime on GPRS 😛
An answer to this MMS issue is somewhere and since none of us here at LEIMobile have Simple Mobile it’s hard for us to test so email me your results as you try each package so we can find the right settings.

Brandon i tried all 4 packages and kept getting the “http://1.1 404 not found” pop-up when tryin to install the packages…Thanks again for trying..I got you guys on push notification so I’ll be looking out for the Genuine Fix or just switch to a pay as you go Tmobile card lol
Ok me and terminal hate each other right now… i just tried it and the 404 error is gone, but as long as you have any of these installed Cydia will say you have an update… which is the same version, but that will be corrected when we find out which one actually works
Brandon I been looking for the packets and I can not find the under what name can I look for them I looked under lei mms and all that I am not good with this do u think u can help me please thank I need to know how to find them
make sure you have the correct source in cydia and that cydia refreshes.
then either
Goto “Sections” tab and find the “MMS” section
or
Goto “Manage” tab, “Sources”, “LEIMobile” and they should be there
ive tried them all and none of them work for me 🙁
I have the beta Lei source added and can see the packets but nome of them will overwrite the source fill. It states that it want to but when I hit ok button it does nothing
you have to remove the package. they wont install on top of each other, you have to remove and reboot in order to install the next one.
Ok tried all that uninstlling and reinstalling but when I go into my settings all the fields are blank. It allows the install now but nothing changes.
Brandon me and a couple of people have tried all the packets and non of them work the phone won’t get any pictures what can you do

hey i nstalled the repo from lei and iphonedelivery from cydia also install first the iphone delivery then the repo and it wil work make sure u reboot it will defenitely work if not go to you tube and find the mms fix follow the steps make sure u check a receant video

I HAVE THE IOS 4.2.1 AND YES I’M ABLE TO SEND PICTURES, JUST DON’T GET THEM RIGHT AWAY, I’VE BEEN GETTING A LOT TODAY AFTER I INSTALLED THE REPO PACKAGE A, BUT I’VE BEEN GETTING AT LEAST 12 PICS, I GUESS ALL THE TIMES I TRIED GETTING THEM. IM JUST GONNA LET IT FINISH IT, MAYBE IT’S GOT LIKE A DELAY AND I’M GONNA LET IT GET ALL THE ONES UNTIL I RECEIVE THE ONE I SENT TODAY TO MYSELF FROM A DIFF PHONE, HOPEFULLY AFTER IT WORKS FASTER.

no but if u look its the most recent one but i have been on this for the last couple of days and today i started to get pictures from previous days and also to day i had a friend send me one it worked but now it wont work i dont know
if its because of the new pkgs being fixed on cydia by brian but today at midnight i started to get all the delayed mms hope fully this info is helpfull.
I HAVE THE IPHONE 3G, AND I THINK LIKE AFTER 30 MINS MORE OR LESS. AND I GET LIKE 3 OR 4 AND THEN LIKE HALF HOUR LATER I GET 2 AND THEN LIKE AND HOUR LATER I GET LIKE 3 MORE, IS RANDOM. PLUS MY CONNECTION AT MY JOB IS PRETTY CRAPPY SO IDK IF THAT AFFECTS IT EITHER.

YESS!!!! finally my mms is back to normal i used package A and im not sure if it makes a difference or not but since it was mentioned by someone else maybe it does i DO have iphone delivery i downloaded it when i bought bitesms so yea but like i was saying package A worked for me and im on ios 4.0.2 iphone 3g thanks so much guys for all the support and doing your hardest to help out us simple mobile users because no one else on cydia has so thanks guys

I installed package B and it works! I can now receive pics, great job team! I still get the update notice from Cydia but I simply ignore it as recommended by the LEI team. Once again, thanks!!!

I have no luck installing the packages..I keep geting a var/mobile/library/preferences/override popup saying trying to over write..i even added iedit app in cydia to go to the file manually to try and see what was stoping..Right under it , it says lock!!! Wtf ? grrrrrrr….T-Mobile may be seeing me soon! Lol

Brandon nope it wont even let me delete. Dont get frustrated i know your trying to help and its greatly appreciated..It might be the firmware and different phones everyone one has..Some are lucky and some arent.

I finally was able to download the packages… I used the 1st Repo u guys came out with.. As soon as I rebooted I recieved some mms from 2 days ago, and a couple from yesterday…I had a few friends send me more and none came through as of yet..
I deleted the repo to try packages A,B,C, and D…A did not work for me, B let me send but not recieve, C did not work , D let me send as well but not recieve..
I have data roaming turned on, should I turn data roaming off??
Do any kind of setting change u can think of, leave no stone unturned, test each package for about a day or so, then switch to another one lol
Just For Clarification I Install The Package. Then Reboot
Then Go To Settings > Network > Cellular Data Network And Type Simple In Both APN Fields.

yes Leon…the other should be already there after youve installed the package
Lower case simple make sure no caps just to be safe

GUYS REMEMBER! give it some time because when i tried this i installed A and when i tested it sent my pic but i couldent recieve any but i didnt go to the next one i gave it a half hour to just to kick in and it worked and now i send and recieve instantly no prob so guys dont rush trought them give each one at least a half hour and if it nothing happens then move to the next one

brandon maybe it might have something to do with the way people jailbreak their idevices (ex. using limerain,redsnow,snowbreeze,orpwnage tool) i mean thats the only varieable that i see as possibly being different because its obviously not the devices its self or the ios because different ios’s and idevices have worked you think thats a possibility ?
I have an iphone 2g running on 3.1.3 and i got MMS to work with the first package (NOT “A”, the one with no letter) all i did was download the “Activate MMS (2G) 3.1.3” from the source Smart-Mobile.com and then I downloaded the first package from leimobile. I used the following network settings:

well i download it the package letter A, and i send with no problem & am starting to recive pictures, 3 days after the day of send! weird!!!
yes thats normal because all the pics that were sent to your phone before are still backed up so they will all start to roll in now that your settings are right after they all come in then you will recieve any new ones you send normaly

when you installed A how long did you wait before moving on to B ? because sometimes it takes a while for it to kick in like for me i installed A and it seemed like it didnt work but i waited and about 40 mins later i started recieving pics all my old ones first from when i was testing and then i test with a pic and i recieved it like normal
Let me tell you guys some really weird stuff. I deleted the 1st package “no letter” and didnt install nothing else..Then I recieved 4 mms pics from the 9th which was 3 days ago.. I checked my network settings and the only thing that was there was simple in the apn and mms…Nothing else was there!! Nothing in the MMSC,MMSC PROXY,MMS MAX and the MMS prof of url were all blank..!! Then I went to my to my messages and guess what my camera was there and I sent a pic to my wife..!!

why dont you try installing package A
then reboot and go to settings make sure it says simple
in both spots that say APN
then wait for a about a half hour to 40 mins and see if you can receive a picture
