Apple Released iOS 16 With Customizable Lock Screen, iMessage unsending, iPad OS 15.7 and More

Apple just pushed out the Major Update for the year. iOS 16. You can download and install it now on all compatible phone devices. This includes iPhone 8 and later.

Apple is still working on iPadOS 16, which has been delayed. We should see it around the same time they release iOS 16.1 in the future.

The most noticeable change to iOS 16 is the ability to customize the lock screen. Showcase favorite photos, customize font styles, and display a set of widgets to get information at a glance.

You can also create different Lock Screens, each with a unique backdrop and style, and easily switch between them. Browse a gallery of wallpapers with suggested photos and themed collections for inspiration.

The other big change is that You can now edit a message you just sent or unsend a recent message altogether. And you can mark a message as unread if you can’t respond in the moment and want to come back to it later.
