We knew this day was coming, we just hoped not this soon!

Verizon is doing what it can to mimic AT&T’s methods to stop unauthorized use of internet tethering. Now if you try to tether using the numerous methods available, your devices are redirected to a Verizon website that will “sell” you the correct *cough* internet tethering plan. On the other side of the iPhone world, AT&T is now reportedly changing subscribers to their 45USD internet with tethering plan. So if you’re using an unlimited data plan and tethering it beware, your days are number. Sadly, I fear this is only the beginning to harsh controls on 3G data usage.
