[UPDATED] PRESS RELEASE: iPhoneSidekick + LEI Mobile Service Running Again!

UPDATE: Alright guys, I have gotten word from iPhoneSidekick themselves. It seems as though their email systems are really crowded with the overwhelming response as well as a bunch of “blank” emails.

Everyone, please make sure that you are clicking the “cancel” button and not tap the “send” button if you arent intentionally trying to message them.

Also, there is a 48 hour waiting period right now for ALL orders. So you may resume placing your order. You WILL recieve word within 48 hours of placing your order.

So there you go everyone! Enjoy! So place your orders and you will be processed and signed up within 48 hours!

Hello. Today, iPhoneSidekick’s servers went down. Now, why this happened is not certain yet, we are trying to establish communication, but we haven’t been able to get through to them. We will keep you updated.

Now, we want to take this time to remind our customers and readers that us here at LEI Mobile have NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING RELATED TO SERVICE. Our inboxes are full of people thinking that we are responsible for the slow downs in processing orders and other things, we DO NOT have anything to do with that. That is purely iPhoneSidekick.

We are aware that some of your orders have not been processed, but there is little to nothing we can do. We don’t handle any service related inquiries. Well be happy to help with any application issues or questions about the plans and everything, but when it comes to actually making all of the service sign ups and set ups, we can’t do anything for you.

Now, we are aware that some of your orders have not yet been processed. Two factors come to mind when it comes to this, the first is that we have huge demand. A lot of this has to do with the overwhelming response of this. They have a limited staff and they are filing as many orders as they can. Many orders have already been processed and a lot of people are already enjoying this great service, however, there are still many that are without service still.

The second reason is the fact that they may be putting in a lot of their attention to get their servers back up and running. Now, this may just be a server update as they have done in the past, I will try to get this info ASAP.

So, we want to apologize on behalf of iPhoneSidekick, and once again, were not the ones that are doing the service part of things, so please don’t yell or insult me, Mike, or Brandon because we have nothing to do with these issues.

I would hold off placing an order at least until they have their servers back up and running, because they have a bunch of orders to fill and you’d be placed in the back of the line anyways.

    I thought it was pretty clear that, ur not the ones who r responsible for starting the service. May be u guys should not be standing on the front line. Their response is slow, it took more than 48 hours and finally I sent a email asking not to start my service, then I did get a response.

    RT: Yeah, I thought we made it pretty clear but A LOT of people are sending us emails, sometimes nasty ones. Yeah, they have sooo may orders, but they need to pick up the pace because it not only makes us look bad, but people want their service the same day, and it’s really frustrating. Hopefully they will pick up the pace for all of our sakes.

    i try to contact them and i get no reply.its been a week already and no luck this bull i want my money back. and i see no where at all confirmation that its workin from any one else. what a scam!!

    Before you go and start saying false accusations and bringing down the value of 2 companies with uneducated lies, y not call them. I added a way to call them in the app. Were ARE NOT the ones providing the service. I’m tired of repeating myself over and over. Take it up with them. Im done.

    i have been trying to get ahold of them for some time now and nothing. i see that only a few ppl actually said it worked. other than that not that many ppl are confirming it works. all i see it do is change the apn to hiptop.t-mobile.com and this does not work. im able to get my mail app working but nothing else. i have no where else to complain. no one returns my email and yes i gave them the correct email im not a dumbass. this site is the only place ill get an answer. i feel that i waisted my money on this shit that doesnt even work. im not trying to upset u alan but it seem ur the only one who could get ahold of them. i have sent them emails explaining my situation i even said i wanted my money back but no reply pls help…..

    Look, I have a list that details the why and “ugh, thats right, forgot to do that” of the errors that are made by people. These are not in any particular order:

    * “I haven’t gotten my stuff yet! What a ripoff!” Hmm, did ya forget to give them your REAL email and REAL information? They cant send you your stuff if they dont know where to send it

    * “Data doesn’t work!” make sure that a) you pay your bill b) that if you are not on the sidekick plan, tell them, by default, they make the config profiles for the sidekick plan, and different plans require different settings

    * “Fuck you Alan! This is a scam!” no, its not. I was a regular customer like everybody else, before they knew who i was. Its always worked for me, im using it right now.

    * “I ordered Thursday/Friday, it’s over 48 hours!” they don’t work weekends.

    * “Alan, i want my money back!” We ARE NOT the ones managing the service or the money, that’s 100% iPhoneSidekick’s doing. There is NOTHING I can do for you directly, so stop asking. I can forward your email to them, but thats it. Theres a BUNCH of people signing up and on a waiting list, wait your turn, these are not machines, they are humans, give them time.

    Also, call them with the app, hense, why I added a full calling and messaging feature RIGHT INTO THE APP!!!! So shit like this doesn’t occur.

    People, you have to be patient, things arent always instant at YOUR command, they take time.
