Ok guys I can clearly say that the iPad 1 VGA Dock Cable “supports” mirroring on the iPad 2. The reason I say it like that is it seems buggy. Hopefully Apple keeps this support in place.

Will the iphone4 ever be able to do mirroring of anything on its screen via vga out etc to a vga device eg TV or Data Projector, or will it have to be built into apps like Presentation Viewer which does only Powerpoint presentations.
