Apple has just released iOS 26.4.1, a point update that expands Apple Music, improves accessibility, and adds quality-of-life fixes across the system. The update is free and available now for all iOS 26-capable devices.

  • Reduce bright effects — Minimizes flashes from taps and UI elements.
  • Subtitle & caption settings — Accessible from the captions icon while watching media.
  • Reduce Motion — More consistently reduces Liquid Glass animations.

  • AirPods Max 2 support added.
  • 8 new emoji: orca, trombone, landslide, ballet dancer, distorted face, and more.

  • Reminders: mark as urgent from Quick Toolbar; filter urgent items in Smart Lists.

How to Update

Go to Settings ? General ? Software Update to download OTA. Back up your device first.
