OS X Mountain Lion Released on the Mac App Store Tomorrow: July 25th
Apple just confirmed that they will release their next major operating system, Mountain Lion, on the Mac App Store Tomorrow July 25th. It will be priced at $19.99. OS X Mountain Lion has over 200 new features including Notification Center, Game Center, AirPlay Mirroring, enhanced iCloud integration, Notes and Reminders apps, an improved Safari and Mail, Twitter and Facebook integration, and voice dictation.

Mountain Lion Announcement
Coming in July, Mountain Lion introduces more than 200 innovative features including the all-new Messages app, Notification Center, system-wide Sharing, Facebook integration*, Dictation, Power Nap, AirPlay Mirroring, Game Center, and the enhanced security of Gatekeeper. iCloud is also built in to the foundation of OS X.
The OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date program is available at no additional charge via the Mac App Store to all customers who purchase a qualifying new Mac system from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller on or after June 11, 2012. Apple Releases OS X Mountain Lion to Developers
Apple just released a preview of their next operating system called OS X Mountain Lion to OS X developers. If you have a development account you can get the preview in the portal.
There are a ton of new features. Most of them are pulled straight from iOS such as, iMessages, Notification Center, and Game Center. The developer preview of Mountain Lion also introduces Gatekeeper, a revolutionary security feature that helps keep you safe from malicious software by giving you complete control over what apps are installed on your Mac.
As a bonus, Apple also released a public beta version of the new iMessages app. This new messaging application will replace iChat. Go and grab the public beta and test it out.

iOS 5 Now Available to Everyone!
Apple has finally released iOS 5 to the general public. This update is for the iPad 2, original iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and third- and fourth-generation iPod touch. User will need to also download iTunes 10.5 and then check for updates. Please note that it may not be available to everyone just yet as the servers need to propagate.
iOS 5 has more than 200 new features, including Notification Center, iMessage, Newsstand, Reminders, iCloud, and system wide Twitter integration. An iOS 5-based version of the Apple TV software is also available.
In order to take advantage of iCloud, Apple has also released OS X 10.7.2 with iCloud support.

OS X Lion USB Pen Drive Released
OS X Lion is now available on a USB thumb drive for installation without the need for a broadband Internet connection. Just plug the drive into your USB port and follow the instructions to install. There is 2 downfalls to the USB drive. Users will not be able to re-install using the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant, a utility that duplicates the recovery partition onto an external drive. You will have to rely upon the USB stick. The second downfall is that the price for the USB drive is $69. [Link]
