[Update] AppStore Broken for iOS 3.X users?
[Update] This issue appears to have been resolved, and even without having to restore in iTunes.
Well this comes as a bit of a shock. It would appear that many users who are still on iOS 3.1.3 aren’t able to access the AppStore from their devices. A Discussion thread has been growing steadily over on Apple’s Discussion Forums on the matter so we’ll keep you up to date on if this gets resolved. For right now if you are on 3.x your only real way to manage apps is straight from iTunes I fear.
Problems faced by users at this time:
1) The price button no longer works
2) Ratings button no longer works
3) “Tell a Friend” and “Gift App” just jump to the top of the window
4) Images don’t load at all
5) Top In-App Purchases is just text now

SkyDrive: 25GB of Free Cloud Storage
Now, normally we don’t talk much about Microsoft on here. But, when they release an App that gives away free stuff then I think we need to mention them.
At the beginning of December Microsoft release a SkyDrive for iOS app. With this app, you get access to 25 GB of free storage with your free Live account. I have been using the default 2 GB available from Dropbox for quite some time but am always shuffling around documents to make room. Now with 25 GB available, and the app to access them from my iPhone or iPad, I should be set for quite some time. Although, everyone thought 256 MB of RAM was enough computing in the beginning as well….

iOS 5.1 and XCode 4.3 Betas Released To Developers
Apple has rolled out iOS 5.1 and XCode 4.3 betas to developers. This build is 9B5117B and has a lot of interesting things. Including iPad2,4. iPad 2,4 could represent a Sprint iPad and Apple may want to release this before the holidays.
We also see reference to J33, which is the codename for the new AppleTV. Lastly the most interesting codename found in iOS 5.1 is iPhone5,1! This is the first reference we have seen of the next generation iPhone.
