Review: Joomeez
(just a warning: The music is very catchy and you will get the theme song stuck in your head for the whole week!) I am not going to lie the music is awesome but may be annoying to some people. I actually would like an mp3 of the theme song. I find it very amusing. The graphics are also very well done. They are not the best around, but the developers did take time to make them look good.
Not only can you create your own characters and get them to interact with each other; Joomeez also features a span of mini-games that will challenge you in diverse ways and will help you accrue Care-Points. You will then be able to use them to purchase more items for your Joomeez and even more mini-games. Even though there is a limited amount of mini games to play, the main concept of the game is to create unique characters to show your friends and family.
Joomeez, developed by Virapps, was a project that took over a year to create. It is available in the App Store and can be downloaded for FREE for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, iPad and we also have a special Joomeez HD version, available for the iPad 2 and the new iPad.

Review: Pro Weather for iPhone / iPod Touch
Pro Weather, developed by Pizero Design di C.M., is a well designed weather and clock application. It has beautiful animations that change based on the current weather and supports HD graphics.
Pro Weather is a FREE application but to get the most out of this app you will want to purchase the Pro version in an in-app upgrade. Premium Widgets Pro gives you unlimited Additional Skins so you can change the layout from a handful of other designs instead of the standard clear grey look. However the standard skin is probably my favorite anyways. The professional version also gives you the ability to add unlimited additional cities, 2 different weather services, and no more advertisements.
Pro Weather is a great alternative to Apple’s weather application. On screen you get the current date and time, 4 day weather forecast of highs and lows, wind speed, humidity, and obviously the current temp. It would be nice to see some more features such as hourly temps or a weather map, but the animations alone make this a very fun weather application.

iPhone 5 will have improved cameras
The next generation iPhone, called iPhone 5 for the time being, will most likely get some improved cameras. The new camera will offer the same 8 mega pixels, but with offer an improved aperture of f/2.4 to f/2.2 in order to reduce camera module height by nearly 0.5 mm. This needs to be done in order to slim down the next generation iPhone so that it can take advantage of the larger screen and slimmer design.
The front camera will receive the largest improvement. Previous iPhone’s had a very nice rear camera and then a crapy VGA front camera. The iPhone 5 is expected to have an HD front camera to make better use of Apple’s FaceTime. Currently these are all just rumors until we hear an official announcement from Apple. Hopefully it will be at WWDC next Monday. Stay tuned.

iSupr8, developed by MEA Mobile, is an application that turn your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad into an 8mm video camera. iSupr8 takes the video that you shot and adds old school effects and film-burn, which in turn creates that old vintage look.
When you launch the app you will be presented with a tiny viewfinder and interface that is true to an 8mm camera. If you decide the viewfinder is too small you can double tap it to increase the size. You can easily shoot new video in 12FPS, 18FPS, or 24FPS directly from the app. You also can choose the resolution. I would recommend the highest HD 1080p, but your processing time is going to be longer.
Not only can you create your own customized videos, but you can also share and view videos created by other users. You can save your videos directly to your Camera Roll or share them via Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail. iSupr8 is currently FREE and includes the standard built in filter, however if you want to get really creative with your video you are going to have to spend some money. iSupr8 has a built in store with a ton of unique filters priced at just $0.99. Currently there are 12 different filmstocks available.
It would be nice if you could actually see a video preview of the different fimstocks that are for sale. Currently you just get a picture. Even though they are priced at just $0.99, I would still like to see a video preview before I purchase the filmstock so that I know I am getting the look I want. Each filmstock lets you customize the look even further by adjusting different presets like Scratches, Vignette, and Flicker. You can then save your settings for future use.
iSuper8 was priced at $1.99 and now it is FREE. Go grab it from the Apple App Store and check it out. This is the Instagram of video. You will not be disappointed.
