evasi0n iOS 6.x Jailbreak Now Available!
The very first iPhone 5, iPad mini, and iPad 4th generation Jailbreak is here. Team Evaders has made everyone’s dreams come true today. Not only is this the first jailbreak for many new devices, but it is also a first time the iPhone Dev Team has given a release date and followed through.
The evasi0n software is very simple to use and requires just a few short minutes of your time. We will however have a tutorial on how to jailbreak your iOS 6.1 device with the evasi0n software soon.
Some notes to consider:
- If you have and iPhone 4 or an iPod Touch 4th Generation tethered Jailbreak on iOS 6.1, you should restore to a clean stock version of iOS 6.1, but NOT if you use ultrasn0w for an unlock.
- For those with a tethered jailbreak of iOS 6.1, there will be a debian available in Cydia to get your device untethered. You will have to take caution though as it is less tested than the original evasi0n app. This will save you some time from having to re-install your Cydia tweaks.
- Please disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It can cause issues.
- The evad3rs have a paypal account and are now accepting donations. Please donate so that this is not the last jailbreak for iOS.

Apple Released iOS 6.1! Jailbreak for All Devices Soon To Follow!!
Apple has just released iOS 6.1 to the public. This is great news because the iPhone Dev Team has stated that they have succesfully jailbroken iOS 6.1 beta’s and the final version should work as well.
We can expect the jailbreak within a matter of days. They just have to do some final testing. They say that they are able to jailbreak the iPhone 5, iPad mini, and the iPad 4th Generation. All Devices that have never been jailbroken!!

Availability
iOS 6.1 is available as a free software update today. iOS 6.1 is compatible with iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad (third and fourth generation), iPad mini, iPad 2 and iPod touch (fourth and fifth generation). Jailbreak iOS 5.1 Tethered for Non-A5 Devices with Redsn0w 0.9.10b6
The iPhone Dev Team was quick to get out a jailbreak solution for non-A5 jailbreakers. If you have a device that is not an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 and above you can test out the jailbreak waters. If you require an unlock to use your iPhone on a different carrier stay away from iOS 5.1 for now.
RedSn0w 0.9.10b6 will jailbreak any non-A5 device, but you will be tethered. Tethered means that you will have to hook your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch up to your computer and rerun RedSn0w every time you reboot. If you’re lucky enough to have an old-bootrom 3GS, this jailbreak is actually untethered and Redsn0w will figure that part out automatically! Please note that iBooks won’t work until a future update of Redsn0w.

Do Not Update To iOS 5.1 Just Yet
[UPDATE] If you have a dyer need to restore your device, DO IT NOW while we’re still able to restore to 5.0.1. Remember, we can’t restore without Apple’s help just yet -_-
Apple’s media event is about to start very soon and we are positive they will mention iOS 5.1 and most likely release it to the public very soon. If you are looking to jailbreak and or unlock your iDevice, DO NOT UPDATE!

iPhone 4S iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak
