Navigon MyRegion App 50% Off
NAVIGON has their MyRegion navigation apps for 50% off to celebrate this year’s WWDC conference with a significant price cut on MyRegion.
If you are traveling to The Bay Area for this year’s WWDC or heading out of town for upcoming summer holiday, you now have the chance to save 50 percent on a full featured, premium GPS navigation app. NAVIGON MyRegion goes on sale for a very limited time only. The app will be available for only $14.99 (normally $29.99) from June 1-11th, and maps of additional regions will be $9.99 (usually $14.99).
MyRegion gives you the power of choice by letting you pick the map region/regions you need but still includes the features known from the award winning North American version, MobileNavigator. It is the first iPhone navigation app that lets users upgrade to additional regions within the app and on the go, providing cross country navigation by choice. The total U.S. map is downloaded upon purchase of the first “MyRegion,” which allows activation of additional map regions via a seamless In App Purchase from within the application. NAVIGON MyRegion allows premium navigation at a reduced price including functions such as Reality View Pro, Google Local Search, Lane Assistant Pro, Enhanced Pedestrian Mode, NAVIGON MyRoutes and much more.
You can download Navigon MyRegion here.

UPDATE: Yep, it opens and loads faster. This is how iBooks should have been from launch. The books open so smoothly and turning the pages is much more fluid. Great bug fix Apple!
Hey everyone, it seems that iBooks was just updated to 1.0.1. It brings some bug fixes and better performance, and it changes the way new iPad users get the Winne-The-Pooh book.
If you’re like me and have a bunch of books, the app can be a tad slow. So this should make it a little more bearable.
I’m downloading the app now. I’ll let ya know if it does indeed work better.

Apple Is Scared Of Muslims Not Christians
Well apparently things still aren’t fair in the iTunes AppStore. Comedian, filmmaker, app developer Emery Emery recorded a phone call with an Apple App Store rep when his iSlam Muhammad app was pulled from the App Store after one day in an attempt to get real answers as to why his app got removed.
Ironically enough iSlam Muhammad app depicted images of the prophet Muhammad (Southpark season 5 days) and outlined disturbing passages from the Qur’an. Yet the Christian-bashing app BibleThumper still remains on the AppStore.
This just goes to show that Apple has little to no consistency in approval of apps, as well as their inability to provide recourse to developers who have had apps rejected for seemingly weak reasons. This wont be the last we hear about this and I’ll keep the updates here.

GodFinger Review
OK what can I say about this game except for the fact that all of us here at LEI Mobile are hooked!
The idea of the game is that you start off as god of a barren dump of a rock in space from which you have to fill with life by giving it rain, sunshine, life, etc. As you progress through the game your planet will populate with beings that you turn into followers that you can use to make the planet even bigger, just don’t let them get into your nukes ok Bender? Lol
This is a Plus+ Networks game and you can use that to view other planets that your friends have created, which is why y’all should all add the LEIMobile gang to your galaxy
Mike is wittchow
Alan is appletimemac
Brandon is truehybridx
I pretty much give this game a 4 out of 5 since it’s addicting and from what i can tell on going, unless there’s a day limit and then the apocalypse leading ti the destruction of my planet but that seems unlikely.
Grab the iPad version from the US AppStore!
If you are interested in getting the iPhone version, check back later on for a tutorial on how to get access to the Canadian AppStore which seems to have it.

Some new iPad 3G users found out the hard way that streaming ABC shows on the iPad through ABC’s iPad app had some issues. You need to be on WiFi currently for it to work. ABC has already submitted an update to the AppStore and should be available soon.
In order to support streaming on the iPad 3G, App Developers must incorporate a lower quality stream in case you have poor 3G coverage. Since ABC rushed to get their app out I am guessing they did not put this in. They realize that people want to stream via 3G but in order to do so you will not get the high quality like WiFi offers.
So for now just sit patiently for the update and watch your shows while you are connected to WiFi.
