Simple Mobile MMS Update
Ok the repo actually works now with these new packages, but Cydia will continue to say you have a Package Update, just ignore it until we find an actual solution for MMS, then I will post instructions and remove the other packages.
Ok for those of you on Simple Mobile who have been having MMS issues we have 4 new packages that may help. Install only one at a time, reboot, make sure your APNs say “simple”, and try to receive pics. If that doesn’t work uninstall the package, reboot, then do the process over again.
Customer Support says the iPhone isn’t capable of receiving picture messages which is utter nonsense since the only thing you can’t do is FaceTime on GPRS
An answer to this MMS issue is somewhere and since none of us here at LEIMobile have Simple Mobile it’s hard for us to test so email me your results as you try each package so we can find the right settings.
Good Luck All

LEAK: Apple To Launch Mac App Store & Mac OS X 10.6.6 On December 13th
Hey guys, looks like Apple may be getting ready to launch the Mac App Store a tad early. Apple had said that they were going to launch it within the next 90 days and reports say that Steve Jobs wanted the store to launch a little sooner than that, so the new projected launch date is for December 13th.
Here’s what the source had to say:
“Apple is targeting a Monday, December 13th launch of the Mac App Store. The company apparently told developers to have their software prepared for a launch as early as Monday the 6th of this month. Apple has made no official announcements regarding this, and delays could always happen, but there’s a push to be launched before Christmas, well ahead of the previously estimated January release.”
Sources say that Steve Jobs had wanted the Mac App Store to be finished by December 6th (yesterday), but looks like they couldn’t meet that date.

Hey guys, since we were gone, there have been lots of rumblings about the Verizon iPhone. The most recent rumor is that according to insiders, Verizon is said to have the exclusive CDMA iPhone rights to the iPhone.
However, as you can see, it says exclusive “CDMA iPhone” rights, so it seems that Sprint may be locked out, but T-Mobile may in fact get the iPhone afterall. A while back we reported that T-Mobile and Apple had been close to reaching an agreement for the carrier to sell the iPhone.
Now, this is certainly possible. Verizon is also said to have told insiders that “Android has begun to lose some of it’s luster”. This would make Verizon a lot more willing to go by Apple’s terms as to how the phone is sold and as to how it’s subsidized.
Rumors place the Verizon iPhone in early 2011, everyone seems to believe that the Verizon iPhone is imminent, whether or not you believe this will happen in 2011, you have to remember that in 2009, we were talking about Apple’s tablet and a lot of information, like this had already been leaked. We all know how those rumors panned out…

We’re Back Everybody!
Hey guys, well, as you may have noticed, we have been pretty quiet for the past 3 weeks, that’s due to a total infrastructure failure that we had. We managed to save as much data as we possibly could, but still, as you may notice, we have news from as early as this past Summer.
It’s been very stressful, but we are back guys!
Mike has done an amazing job today at bringing our mail & push notifications network back up in a matter of a few hours. There were some kinks here and there at times, but overall, our most basic services are back up.
So, what do we have ready? Here’s what we’ve got:
* LEIMobile.com is running with a lot of bug fixes, we will be continuing to tweak the site for the next few days, but it runs great already.
* Push Notifications Network is back up! Everyone that uses the LEI Mobile app from the iTunes App Store, your Push Notifications are once again functional. We have also resolved the crashing bug by fixing the push notifications (this will solve the crash on boot & the “M6″ bug).
* Basic Mail services are back up! You can contact us at our regular @leimobile.com addresses again. However, P1nkSn0w support will NOT be ready until at least next week.
* Cydia repo is back up! Our repo with the Simple Mobile fixes, MMS fixes, and Facetime fixes are all up, along with an AirPlay hack that you will see soon.
So that is what we have for you! We will be starting to post once more starting tomorrow morning.
I would like to thank you all for sticking with us through this very bleak time. This has been the biggest setback that we have had since we began in 2007. However, we’re coming back with a vengance.
I am also going to give a little teaser as to what you can expect to see from us in the near future, I will be announcing some very cool stuff in the coming days. The site has slowed down some development of our latest and greatest things, but we hope to get back on schedule for the new product line as a whole soon.
I have been hinting at a major new product launch from us for the past week or so, if you haven’t figured it out yet, then you’ll have to wait and see. I am very excited to be sharing our latest products very soon, we have been working on them for a long time now, so we hope that you will love them as much as we do.
Well, good night everyone and we did it! We managed to get back online with our main services on Monday, December 6, 2010, as promised, with about 6 minutes to spare.
See you all tomorrow. Thanks guys!

We have recently had a huge server crash and lost most of our data. Our Cydia repo is currently down, but you can manually fix your MMS with the Simple Mobile MMS Fix for iPhone below. This fix should work on iOS firmware 4.0 to 4.2.1+.
UPDATE 2: If your phone is not jailbroken follow this guide to get mms working on a non jailbroken iPhone: http://leimobile.com/simple-mobile-iphone-mms-settings-for-ios-5/
UPDATE:Please add our Cydia repo to find the iPhone MMS Fix for Simple Mobile.
Our Repo is http://beta.leimobile.com/repo/
Once you install the fix you will need to reboot your phone and go into settings->general->network and make sure the APN is correct.
If you are using the $40 TalkTextILD plan, you cannot use MMS as a data plan is required. When your current plan expires, upgrade your plan to one of the data capable plans – 50MB or 150MB – that Simple Mobile offers.
To install you will need to SSH into your iPhone. The first thing you will want to do is download OpenSSH from Cydia. Next you will want to follow the guide to using WinSCP for iPhone.
You will need to place the override plist for Simple Mobile in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences which you can download here: com.apple.mms_override.plist Make sure you REMOVE SIMPLE from the file name. So save the file as com.apple.mms_override.plist
