Review: Snap Clap – Clap Your Hands To Take A Photo

Snap Clap, developed by Dávid Šproch, is a very neat iOS application that lets you snap a picture by just clapping your hands together.

This application is very easy to use and offers a ton of great features. I was able to attach my iPhone onto the tripod and set the wait timer between 2-6 seconds. After I clapped a nice picture came out that I was able to quickly crop and then publish of Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or E-Mail. I did have to adjust the sensitivity so that it could correctly hear me clap, but that was just a simple slider I had to move in the settings menu.

There are a few features that have been left out that we would like to see in the next update. Even though you can share your pictures, there is no way to save your pictures you took with Snap Clap directly to your camera roll. Also from what I have experienced, once you crop a picture there is no way to save the original and the cropped version and there is no way to undo the crop.

Overall This is a very neat app and I would definitely recommend it. If you are in to taking family photos or use a tripod with your iPhone a lot, this is the perfect app to have. It is available for just $0.99 on the Apple App Store.
