Review: SFBags iPad Suede Jacket

My favorite case back from the original iPhone days is back and it’s bigger and better than before.  SFBags / WaterField Designs have taken the original suede jacket that I loved and ported it to the iPad.

The reason I love the iPad Suede Jacket so much is because it’s an extremely basic design, feels great and is not bulky.  The iPad version has been upgraded to include 3 tabs.  They are very helpful!  You have one tab at the bottom that you grab  and turn upside down and then the iPad just slides out.  The other two tabs are located on the sides at the top.  These two tabs are used to easily get your iPad back into the case.

The iPad Suede Jacket starts off at only $19 for the model without a pocket.  If you would like a pocket to store a few things in, that option is only $25.  If you like having some protection for your iPad but do not want to sacrifice bulk, the iPad Suede Jacket is perfect.

I give this case 5 out 5 stars. It is inexpensive, lightweight, does not add bulk, fits perfectly into any small bag, great for cleaning the screen and keeps your iPad “sexy” looking.  The only issues I have with it would be that it can be a little tricky at times to get it into the case in a hurry.  But hey, what can you expect when this case is designed to be slim.  I would recommend you pick one of these up.  It is a great case for under $20.

Here is a nice video that they have put together showing off the features and how easy it can be to slip in and out.
