Review: Myibidder Auction Bid Sniper for eBay

Myibidder Auction Bid Sniper for eBay, developed by Azoteca Software LLC, is an application that allows you to setup a last second bid on eBay which increase your chances to win.

Last second bidding is called sniping. By setting last second bids you avoid getting into a bidding war with other bidders driving the price up. Myibidder allows you to snipe those auctions right from your iPhone.

To start the app you will have to log in securely to your eBay account. You will then be presented with a list of active items, wins and losses, and completed items. You will also be able to search eBay, import your bidding and watching list, and add an item based on the eBay item number.

Once you have the item number, you can access the sniping screen. This screen will show you all of the important information like the screen shot above. If you are ready to have Myibidder snipe the auction for you, just flip on the switch to activate, set your maximum bid and then set the seconds. The default sniping time is set to 6 seconds. This means Myibidder will put in your maximum bid with 6 seconds left in the auction.

The application uses Myibidder.com service (originally named Myibay.com) to place your snipes, so you can turn off or disconnect your phone after you scheduled your snipe. The company currently processes over 150,000 snipes per week. It is a trusted and reliable service.

Once you pay for the app the service is completely free. You will not be charged a monthly fee or per auction fee for using the service. There is a few things you should be aware of. Sniping does not guarantee winning, but will give you the best possible chance of winning the auction at or less your maximum bid. You also have to have your snipe in place atleast 3 minutes in advance for the service to work, and you can stop sniping if you have at least 1-2 minutes to go in the auction by setting “OFF” on “Activate” and saving your changes.

Myibidder is currently priced at $6.99. Yes I know it seems like a lot when you are so accustomed to buying apps for $0.99, but the asking price is well worth it. You will most likely recover the cost with the first sniped auction you win. Now get sniping and win some sweet deals on eBay.
