Want To Beta Test iOS 4.3?
Beta Testing for iOS 4.3 has begun and Apple has released the first iOS 4.3 beta 1 to developers on January 12. The iOS 4.3 beta has some really cool features including mobile hotspots and new gestures for the iPad that eliminate the need for the home button.
Only the iDevices below are included in the iOS 4.3 beta:
* iOS 4.3 beta (iPad)
* iOS 4.3 beta (iPhone 4)
* iOS 4.3 beta (iPhone 3GS)
* iOS 4.3 beta (iPod touch 4th generation)
* iOS 4.3 beta (iPod touch 3rd generation)
If you have an iPhone, iPod, or iPad that you would like to use to beta test the iOS 4.3, you are in luck.
You will need to be on an Apple iOS Developer team to Beta Test.

Apple’s iDevices including the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad have a Unique Identifier which is UDID for short. This number is 40 digits and specific to the iDevice. It is similar to a serial number.
Apple requires that each iDevice used for developmental and beta testing new iOS versions is registered in the Developer Portal. Some Developers may require your serial number to license their software and some may require the UDID.
To find your device’s UDID:
1. Open iTunes.
2. Click on your iDevice in the left hand tool bar.
3. You will see information about your iDevice and a picture of it.
4. Click on Serial Number with your mouse and it will change to Identifier (UDID).
5. It Now displays your Unique Identifier. To easily copy it, hit Control+C on Windows or Command+C on the OS X.
Today On YouTube: T-Mobile Slams AT&T & Verizon With Latest Ad
Hey guys, as you know, we have a YouTube channel, which is integrated into our widely popular LEI Mobile application, and today, I uploaded an advertisement that T-Mobile just released. This advertisement deals with the iPhone and now it’s featuring both an AT&T and a Verizon guy.
The advertisement goes on to show that 4G is fast and it’s unfortunate that the iPhone isn’t 4G equipped yet. Check it out!

Hey guys, we are getting some very strange, but possible, news. Sources are saying that Apple’s next iPad and iPhone will NOT be having physical buttons on the device.
Today, Apple seeded iOS 4.3 to iOS developers and I have been using iOS 4.3 on my iPad for a few hours now, and after activating the “secret” multi-touch gestures, I haven’t found a use for the home button. Personally, I always saw the home button as very awkward, rumors that were circling BEFORE the iPad was announced suggested that 5 finger gestures would be the way that we would be enabling multi-tasking in the (back then) near-future.
People who would know this sort of knowledge say that Steve Jobs always wanted a buttonless iPad & iPhone since the beginning, but that today, that dream can finally start to be realized.
For those of you on an iPad on iOS 4.3, enable the secret multi-touch gesture user interface by connecting it to your computer, opening XCode, open the organizer, and go to the iPad tab. Now, click “Use For Development” and wait until it’s done. Now, go into the Settings application on your iPad and you should see the option magically appear!
Let me know what you think, home button or no home button? So far, I’m digging the no home button. My only concern is at the time of jailbreaking, how will Apple make the new button-less device go into DFU?

Well just as I feared. Currently AT&T has it setup to where you must activate a particular (overpriced?) plan in order make use of Personal Hotspot. As for other carriers we’ll have to wait until Mike can maybe update his factory unlocked iPhone so we can check with T-Mobile. Bad way to start off the year AT&T.
