Hey guys, how’s it going? Well, it looks like the Mac App Store left some things hidden in the application (left over from Apple testing).
To enable the menu, close the Mac App Store if it’s open. Then, open Terminal (search for it in Spotlight) and enter in the following:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
Now, after entering the code, make sure to open the Mac App Store again and then check in your menu bar. You should see a “debug” option.
Go ahead and enable it and you can fool around with the settings.
Nothing groundbreaking here but it’s a neat little trick for those of you who are like me and like exploring and unlocking every hidden feature from software.
If you ever want the debug menu to go away, just make sure to close the Mac App Store, open terminal, and type in this code:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool false

Follow Me On Twitter Again; My Account Was Hacked, But I’m Back!

Hey guys, I just wanted to remind some of you guys that my Twitter was hacked during the whole Gawker Media Hacking Scandal. Twitter FINALLY could identify me as the rightful owner of the @Alan_Vazquez user name, however, they deleted everything from my profile and caused me to lost everyone I was following and everyone that followed me.
I wanted to remind you to follow me at http://Twitter.com/Alan_Vazquez or search for @Alan_Vazquez and you’ll find me. It’s pretty frustrating that soneone would hijack my account because my account had to be wiped (in accordance with their policy).
So make sure to hit that “Follow” button in Twitter! I tweet pretty regularly and I usually type news that sometimes doesn’t make it to the front page of LEI Mobile. Also, I like to send out teasers of stuff we may be doing, you just gotta look out for my tweets.
You can access my Twitter page within the LEI Mobile app, and you have to swipe left in the LEI Mobile 5 dock to reach it.
Also, make sure to follow Brandon & Mike. Their Twitter usernames are @Brandonetheredg as well as @chow7.
So there you go guys, please, if you followed me before, please do again because Twitter wiped out my account so I had to start again.

Here is the easiest was to stop that pesky AutoPlay window from popping up when you plug your iDevice in.
When you first plug your iPhone, iPad, or iPod into your computer you will see a popup with like:
t the bottom you can see a link that says “Set AutoPlay defaults in Control Panel.” If you click on that it will take you to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->AutoPlay
From here you go to your iDevice and select take no action, or something else if you want.
If you are looking for a way to stop iTunes from opening when you plug your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch than you need to uncheck the box in iTunes at the bottom, under Options, that says: “Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected.”

We’ll Be Back Soon!
Hey everyone, we have been down for a good 2 weeks now, but as of about noon today, I was informed that our server is FINALLY ready, so we will begin moving to our new server, which can handle the massive amounts of push notifications that we distribute on a regular basis, as well as new articles. We are currently on a very unstable old server which can barely handle what we have.
So, during this week, you may see our site go down again, edited, and all. This is because we are moving to a new server.
Hopefully, we will be back on Monday December 6th at full speed again. We are also getting ready to announce some pretty exciting stuff here soon, so we’ll keep you updated on that as well, but that’s all I will say today about that.
So thank you for sticking with us during this very bleak time in which we have been unable to do what we do. However, we have not stopped working for a second, as you may have seen, I have periodically been posting YouTube videos on our channel as well as tweets on our Twitter account, while we get back on our feet.
Thank you again, and we’ll be back soon!
