Now, this new leak, shows the exact same face plate as the 1st leak of this that we saw back in late 2009, it still has a hole on the top of the plate that is said to be a front facing camera!

Now, if this is true, this is what we can expect the next iPhone to look like and we can expect a front facing camera and iChat app!

CDMA iPhone (Verizon) News Leaked on Wall Street Journal

Hey everyone. Well, this morning, we had some interesting news coming out of the Wallstreet Journal.

On their home page, they had a “BREAKING NEWS” article that stated that Apple has a working CDMA-iPhone and that they will announce it in June/July as well as a GSM-only iPhone.

Now, WSJ reports that Apple will have 2 iPhones for sale in 2010, one with be CDMA and the other will be GSM, however, the specs are going to be identical.

The iPhone is said to be even thinner than all current iPhones! Now, according to the WSJ, the CDMA iPhone will be announed in June/July, however, production for that will start in September. Now, that puts the launch date at about January 2011.

They even specified who will build the iPhone! They claim that the CDMA iPhone will be built by Pegatron Technology Corp.

Now, the WSJ is the first major media source with information as to a CDMA iPhone, ever! Sure, everyone here has been saying something to this extent for a while, due to our sources, but the Wallstreet Journal is the first to have a story like this, they even felt compelled enough to say “BREAKING NEWS”.

Now, as you recall, I said that my AT&T source said that AT&T’s exclusivity ended as of January 2010, and right now, AT&T doesn’t have (technically) exclusivity, but Apple needed to make deals with other carriers, without deals, AT&T losing their exclusivity contract isn’t anything to us.

Now, I also said that Apple would sell iPhones on both AT&T and T-Mobile this year, and a Verizon iPhone next year, now if the WSJ is right, Verizon will welcome the iPhone a few months sooner than I expected.

However, however. Apple is said to have said “the CDMA iPhone is taking longer that we expected” so that’s why the production will start in September for a late 2010/January 2011 launch.

Now, Verizon is the #1 carrier here in the US, Apple would be opening itself to over 90 million new customers, and if you add T-Mobile, that adds up to about 200 million americans here in the US in total, with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile carrying the iPhone.

That is a MAJOR market! This move could possibly kill AT&T, AT&T has gained customers due to the iPhone exclusivity, now, without that, a lot of people are going to jump ship for Verizon. This is some scary news if you are an AT&T (T NYSE) stockholder.

As I suspected, AT&T stock has dipped 1.04% and Verizon (VZ NYSE) has gained 2.76% on the iPhone on Verizon news that has rocked the internet this morning.

Well, all we can do is wait for Steve’s iPhone OS 4.0 keynote here in about the 2nd week of April, and then WWDC 2010 in June. :) I’m very excited to return and hear this news right off the bat! I hope you are all ready, because 2010 is going to be one hell of a year for Apple and us, here, at LEIMobile.com/HackMyPad.com!

I’m Back! (While I Was Gone)

Good afternoon everybody. Well, this morning, at 12:01am, I, Alan Vazquez, returned here to LimitedEditioniPhone.com, LEIMobile.com, and HackMyPad.com after a very nice 1month off.

Now, I took the month off for many reasons, but the main ones being that I wanted to spend some more time with my family and those who I love/care about most. I also had a small procedure done, but that’s a story for another day. Granted, I loved every minute of it as I had not taken a day off since early 2008 but, it’s time to come back and do some great things.

Now, while I was gone, there hasn’t been many posts, that is due to a few factors. The first and foremost was that Apple news is traditionally very very slow this time of the year. From October-> March/April, there is usually not much to report. Also, Michael took 2 weeks off and Brandon was left here alone.

Now, we didn’t cease working all together. We have all not only been working on relaxing, but, we have really got some great things in the works that both happened during my departure, and starting today. Just because 1 or 2 people are gone, doesn’t mean that this all goes to a screeching hault.

Now, I can’t talk much about what we are actively working on, but I assure you, you will love it. :)

Now, onto some stuff that happened and were announced/launched during my absence. Michael announced LEIMobile.com. Now, Mike and I had been talking about LEIMobile.com for a good year now. The domain was purchased in 2009, but, we really didn’t have a plan for it, we just knew that we wanted/needed it. :)

Well, the main issue was to transition to the new website. We had to come up with a way to smoothly transition you guys to the new site. That was my main concern. Now, a lot of ideas were thrown around, and, we did have a lot of discussions as to the fate of LimitedEditioniPhone.com and LEIMobile.com, but in the end, we figured it out.

So, from this day forward, all new posts will be on LEIMobile.com, however, LimitedEditioniPhone.com isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. There is a ton of very useful articles and data on that site, and I proposed a fusion version of LEI Mobile (app) that contains LEIMobile.com’s new news, and LimitedEditioniPhone.com will be a place for old reviews, tutorials, etc.

Now, that is the route that we are going to go. We will finally cut the chord when we feel comfortable not needing the archives any more. We will shut it down when we feel that no one will every need any of the tutorials or FAQ again. But, that’s still a whiles away.

Now, onto the iTunes App Store. As you all know, SocialMe has been on the iTunes App Store for a while now, about a month. Now, it has a 3.5/5 star review and has garnered a lot of downloads. We are very happy about how that is going. :) Now, we have a lot of plans for the future of SocialMe, and those will be revealed at a later date. :)

Now, some more big iTunes news, LEI Mobile. Mike announced that LEI Mobile had finally been approved for download in the App Store! We have been trying for over a month to get LEI Mobile onto the App Store, but we had to make a lot of revisions to it before it was finally accepted.

Not only is LEI Mobile on the App Store as it’s old former self, but we finally finished arming LEIMobile.com servers with the capability to have APNS (Apple Push Notification System) working! We have been wanting Push Notifications to be in LEI Mobile sincethe very beginning. This would never have been possible, if it weren’t for Giovani and the entire iSpazio team. Thank you all very much.

LEI Mobile now has a 5/5 rating on the iTunes App Store, and Cydia sales post us into the 50,000+ download mark, so we are very happy about that. iTunes numbers are not in yet, but we are expecting big numbers.

So, that’s what’s happened while I was gone. My input on everything as well.

Now, as you all know, the iPad’s launch is on Saturday, April 3, 2010 @9am, so we will be covering the madness that is an Apple product launch. :)

So not only am I getting back into the groove, but you are all going to as well, as a bunch of Apple news is headed your way as the Apple season 2010 kicks off! :)

Thank you all for sticking with us with your continuous support, and I would just like to say, “Glad to be back” :)

Thank You!
